🇬🇧 The film "Max Linder does all the sports" (1913), also known as "Max Linder pratique tous les sports", is a comedy starring Max Linder. The plot revolves around Max, who reads in a newspaper that a rich American woman is looking for a young athlete to marry. To win her hand, he takes part in a series of sporting competitions, including ice skating, boxing, rowing and car racing. Of course, he is not a professional, and this creates some humorous moments.Although there are some comic scenes in the film, many of the sporting events are presented in a serious manner, without much humorous content. However, Linder is still considered an interesting example of athletic talent and his ability in different sports. Some critics point out that although this is not one of Linder's funniest short films, it is still one of the most interesting sports films ever made.Célia Paula
