🇬🇧 In 1912, englishman Arthur Melbourne Cooper had the idea of making a short film using cat toys during a football match. At the time, people were experimenting with motion capture, but nothing had been done with inanimate objects. The film is silent, in black and white and runs for 6 minutes. It is not very long, but it was a film from the very beginning of animation. And it is interesting to understand its development up to the present day.

🇵🇹 Em 1912 o inglês Arthur Melbourne Cooper teve uma ideia de fazer uma curta com brinquedos de gatos numa partida de futebol. Até ao momento foi experimentado a captura de movimento em humanos, mas em criaturas inanimadas ainda nada tinha sido feito.

O filme é mudo, a preto e branco e tem a duração de 6 minutos. Não é muito longo, mas tornou-se um filme dos primórdios da animação. E torna-se curioso entendermos a sua evolução até à atualidade.
