🇬🇧 One of the oldest traditional sports games was the one chosen by the Lumière brothers. In this film, released on 27 November 1898, we see the ingenuity of trying to topple a hanging basket with a stick and blindfolded eyes. Two men try their luck to be the first to achieve this feat. Meanwhile, a crowd of spectators looks on in awe. This film was made in France, without local definition, but was shown for the first time in Lyon. These games were great entertainment at the end of the century. XIX. Another fantastic work by the Lumière brothers.

🇵🇹 Um dos jogos desportivos tradicionais mais antigos foi o plano escolhido para os irmãos Lumière. Neste filme lançado a 27 de novembro de 1898, assistimos á perspicácia de tentar derrubar com um pau e olhos vendados um cesto suspenso. Enquanto dois homens tentam a sua sorte em ser o primeiro a conseguir tal feito. Enquanto isso uma multidão assiste com entusiasmo. Este filme foi filmado em França, sem local definido, mas projetado pela primeira vez em Lyon. Estes jogos eram um forte entretenimento nos finais do séc. XIX. Mais outra obra fantástica deixada pelos Irmãos Lumière.
