The next International Sport Film Festival will be even more exciting

"The International Sport Film Festival (ISFF) reaches its third edition in 2024, establishing itself as the most important sports-themed film event in the Campania region. The festival provides a platform to tell inspiring sports stories and aims to further consolidate its prestigious reputation.

The third edition of the International Sport Film Festival will take place from Monday, November 25 to Saturday, November 30, 2024, lasting a total of six days. This edition will be enriched by the experience of the first two editions with clear and ambitious goals, many of which have already been partially achieved. During this event, films and documentaries from around the world will be presented, with morning screening sessions dedicated to schools and public screenings, networking events, Q&A sessions, and training starting in the afternoon.

In past editions, the festival has achieved remarkable success:

• First edition (2022): 73 films in competition with over 1500 spectators.
• Second edition (2023): 138 films in competition from around the world and over 2500 spectators.

This year, the festival is enriched with numerous elements of interest and originality.

Events and Related Activities

Involvement of Schools and Meeting between Students and Sports Champions An important aspect of ISFF 2024 is the active involvement of middle and high schools in the area. Students will have the opportunity to attend screenings of selected works (3-4 short works for about 75 minutes of total show) and participate in Q&A sessions with sports and film industry figures. This enriching exchange will allow young people to connect directly with inspiring figures, fueling their passion for both sports and cinema. Additionally, the student jury will evaluate the competing films, offering a fresh and dynamic perspective on the presented works.

Workshops and "Cinema Meetings" The festival program will include a series of training workshops led by industry experts, ranging from sports photography to casting techniques, providing participants with unique opportunities for learning and professional growth. The workshops and other meetings with Q&A sessions aim to provide practical skills and promote networking between established and emerging professionals, making ISFF a reference point for sports cinema enthusiasts.

Artistic Installations and Exhibitions Further enriching the festival experience will be thematic artistic exhibitions exploring the multiple connections between art and sport. The exhibitions will include photographs, installations, and various works celebrating the aesthetics and culture of sport from different artistic perspectives. These exhibitions, accessible throughout the festival, offer visitors a chance to reflect on the beauty of sport and the power of visual storytelling, creating a stimulating and evocative environment that perfectly integrates the festival's other activities."
