"After two editions in Nice in 2021 and 2023, the Alice Milliat association invites you to the Le Méliès cinema (Montreuil) on March 7, 8 and 9 for the next edition of the Les Sportives en Lumière Festival.

Organized with the support of the Alice Milliat Foundation, the National Sports Museum, the Team, the ANS, the Est Ensemble territory and the Banque Palatine, the festival will be an opportunity to view the latest productions featuring before sports.

Around fifteen documentaries will compete to win one of the seven prizes awarded by a jury chaired by journalist and activist Laurie Delhostal. Many personalities, athletes and specialists from the world of sport will be present to answer questions from the public and lead debates on themes relating to the representation of women in sport and in society.

In this Olympic and Paralympic year with the holding of the first Parity Games in Paris, this Festival takes on its full meaning: continuing to pave the way for better visibility of women's sport and a better recognized place for women in the sporting world. This festival, presenting all types of audiovisual works, thus offers a platform for the numerous documentary productions while offering spectators an immersion in current women's sport, highlighting both the sporting performances of the athletes and the difficulties and barriers that they face. they still meet.
