EN - Edward Muybride was fascinated by the human body. He often used it as a subject for his projects. Boxing was the best sport to demonstrate body movement. In 1887 he concentrated on open-handed boxing. A film with two men in a fighting situation. The hands and arms interact. They hold on and move into a defensive position. Muybridge again experimented with the technique of chronophotography. This is a photographic process that allows you to see all the movements of the body.

PT - Edward Muybride estava fascinado pelo corpo humano. E utilizava várias vezes esse motivo para os seus projetos. O boxe era o melhor desporto para evidenciar o movimento do corpo. Em 1887 focou-se em Open Hand Boxing. Um filme com dois homens em situação de combate. As mãos e braços interagem entre si. Agarram-se e movimentam-se em posição de defesa. Muybridge voltava a experimentar a técnica de cronofotografia. Este é um processo fotográfico pelo qual se consegue ver todos os movimentos do corpo.
